Tocreateanupgradedisc:

i. Downloadthefirmwareupgrade.zipfiletoacomputerwithadiscwriter.

TocreateanupgradeUSBStick:

i. Downloadthefirmwareupgrade.zipfiletoacomputerwithaUSBport.

iv. CopytheunzippedfirmwareupgradefilestotherootdirectoryoftheUSBstic

Toupgradetheplayer:

OnceyouhavecreatedanupdatediscorUSBstick,performthefollowingstepstoupdatetheplayer’ssoftware:

1. Ejectanydiscsthatmaybeintheplayer,andremoveanyUSBsticksalreadyinsertedintheplayer.

2 Turntheplayeroff.IfusinganupgradeUSBstick,inserttheUSBmemorystickintotheplayer’sUSBslot.

3 Turntheplayerbackon.Ifyouareusinganupgradedisc,openthetrayandinserttheu pdate disc.

4 Afteraminuteortwo,ascreensimilartotheonebelowwillappear.



5 PresstheEnterkey.Thesoftwareupdatewillbegin.



Duringthesoftwareupdate,atimerwillcountdowntheapproximatenumberofminutesandseconds

remainingfortheupdate.



 



6. Oncetheupdateiscomplete, ascreensimilartotheoneshownbelowwillappear:



Ifapplicable,youshouldejecttheu pdatedisc,andthenthrowitaway.IfyouusedanupdateUSBstick,youshould

powerdowntheplayer,andtheneraseanyupdatefilesplacedontherootdirectoryoftheUSBstickbeforeusingit

again.
